5 essential questions to Empower your internal champions with AI

Your company-wide AI strategy isn’t hiding in a new platform -

It’s asking Brenda in Marketing who’s felt the problem every day for the last six months.

I was digging through Anthropic’s internal research the other day, curious to see how their teams were using Claude Code in the wild.
I figured the insights would come from engineers (it does write code, after all).

But the most interesting implementations came from non-tech teams:
Product designers. Lawyers. Marketers.

People closest to the problems, not the code.

Across industries this is the pattern I’ve seen in my workshops and advisory work:

• Some teams experiment, but their wins don’t scale.
• Others have ideas, but no clear way to build.
• And most haven’t even considered they could contribute.

Most teams have transformational ideas worth building - with the right support and the right framing their solutions catch everyone off guard.

But those implementations don’t emerge just by hoping for them.

Leadership has to make space for them. Encourage them. Fund them.

Otherwise, AI stays stuck in the lab when it should be out in the field.
